CLUB DRIVE TO KEY LARGO

Those of us from the Kendall area and above assembled in the parking lot adjacent to Denny’s on North Kendall Drive at the Florida Turnpike where we had the chance to see many old friends and make some new ones. Departing not so promptly around 9:30, we cruised down the turnpike to its end and just beyond where we met up with those living south of Kendall. Again, we had the chance to greet and mingle a bit as a group before heading down the 20 mile stretch of US1 that connects us with the Upper Keys. Although the weather was a bit overcast, the drive was terrific. When we reached our destination, the Catch Restaurant, we found that Kathy, the owner, had prepared a separate dining room for us and treated us to great food and service. Thanks Kathy. What a great day!
